Position Overview
The Product Manager will be responsible for driving the product strategy and execution for REDi’s platform. As the company’s first Product Manager, this role requires a strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution capabilities to establish and scale product management processes.
Core Responsibilities
Strategy & Vision
- Define and execute the REDi product strategy and roadmap
- Create and maintain buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
- Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
- Establish product management processes and best practices
Product Development & Delivery
- Drive the end-to-end product development lifecycle from conception to launch
- Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including prioritised feature lists with corresponding justification
- Translate product strategy and customer insights into detailed requirements and prototypes
- Lead planning ceremonies, backlog grooming, and feature prioritisation sessions
- Define and document acceptance criteria for new features
- Ensure quality through hands-on testing and validation
Customer & Market Focus
- Conduct regular user research and gather customer feedback through interviews, surveys, and data analysis
- Develop deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and user experience
- Identify product gaps and opportunities to grow market share
- Monitor competitive landscape and market trends
Cross-functional Leadership
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimise development workflows and resource allocation
- Partner with marketing to plan and execute successful product launches
- Work with executives to align product initiatives with business objectives
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate product decisions effectively
Analytics & Performance
- Define and track product metrics and KPIs
- Set and monitor success criteria for product initiatives
- Analyse product performance data to inform decision-making
- Regular reporting on product health and milestone achievement
